Weather Update
The rain and flooding continue. I-70 and many other roads, we travel, are closed. Fortunately we are able to stay home and that is what we plan doing for the duration. We are okay.
An ordinary meal for an extraordinary Sunday…just because.

SAUTE ONION AND ADD BEEF TO NON STICK FRYING PAN. COOK BEEF UNTIL WELL BROWNED. ADD TOMATOES, SPICES (TO YOUR TASTE), AND THREE CUPS WATER. BRING TO BOIL AND ADD PASTA. REDUCE HEAT TO LOW. SIMMER COVERED UNTIL PASTA IS COOKED AL DENTE.
This pasta can be served with grated cheese and warm bread. Our Sunday supper bowl of pasta was excellent without cheese or bread. The wine was the only accompaniment.
Saint James Cynthiana (Dry Red)
This bottle was an older vintage. It tasted good with the pasta. Our wine choices are like my decorating choices. If we like the wine we will drink it, no matter what the experts say.Your method of choosing wine might be completely different from ours.
Saint James is one of our favorite Missouri Wineries. We are never disappointed.
Not compensated. We just simply like Saint James Winery.
