The grandkids were seated at the island for our Thanksgiving celebration.
Someone asked how food is served when I do an elaborate table setting. Here, as it was at our former home, family gathering meals are served buffet style from the island.
The table was simply set with Mikasa French Countryside, a mix of plaid and check napkins and a cloth with leaves, berries and pomegranates.
The centerpiece was a bouquet of fruit from Edible Arrangements, served in a large tureen.
We added two red ladder back chairs, making room for 8.
White Chicken Chili, Potato Soup, Chili made with ground turkey.
Dinner rolls were served and a pretzel dinosaur…just because.
We hope to finish the great room tree today. Unless we come up with a bright idea, that should complete Christmas decorating 2015.
