An Autumn arrangement in the center of the bistro table, on the newly stained deck.
The kilim rug has been around awhile. It is perfect for an Autumn deck. We will only use it if we are having a meal or wine on the deck. It is easily rolled up and stored under the guest room bed until we need it.
The pillows are from Pier One clearance, this past Spring. The Pier One cushions are several years old. We bought the bistro set for our lake condo deck. It is from Lowe’s a few years ago. We brought the set home when we sold the condo. The table and chairs sit a little higher. Almost counter height.
This was shot through one of the screens and not a good representation. I am a pretty dedicated blogger, but when it is early morning and I am barefoot in jammies I like to do photos from inside. I’ll try for a better shot on another day. You get a bit of an idea how the color blends well with the cedars.
The color, in Olympic deck stains, is Cocoa.
This photo shows the deck shortly after completion. The deck was wet from rain. After living with the natural cedar a couple of months we made the decision to use Cocoa. It is much better with the siding.
