The laundry is the pass thru to the garage. I added one of the colorful chairs from the old breakfast room, a hat and a cabinet from the lake condo, most recently used on the back porch.
The weather vane from Target several years ago, Pottery Barn butterfly prints, an olive bucket, white ceramics, Mother’s little 1950’s hen cookie jar, PB baskets, a galvanized framed mirror, and the butterfly sculpture round out the accessories.
The wall color is Sherwin Williams Accessible Beige.
I keep forgetting to flip the dryer door. The outlets would not show if we had a front loading set. I thought it over and decided to return to a top loader. I suppose the outlets could be hidden, but I don’t mind if they show. This is after all, a utility room.
The door leads to the garage.
This isn’t the smallest laundry we’ve had. The one at the lake was behind sliding doors in a hallway, as was the one at the apartment last Summer. This one is larger than the laundry, shown in the photos below, in our former home.
In the beginning the laundry was painted Laura Ashley Gold #3 Valspar.
The laundry was painted Sherwin Williams Sticks and Stones in 2011.
