I finally found a vignette that fits the server very well. The sofa will arrive in another week or ten days. I’m trying to finish this and that, here and there, while we wait. It is definitely a slow process.
I took a few quick photos as I arranged the top. I find this helps me see what I need to take away or add. This vignette suits me just fine.
This long shot shows the chair we had reupholstered. The modern look table holds a plant in a copper pot. I like how the contemporary lamp looks positioned beside the traditional chair.
The rug shed a bit right after it arrived from Overstock. It has settled down. I am so happy about that, because this rug along with another smaller version is just the right complement for the fabric of the dining chairs and other furnishings.
The floral is from The Flower Petaler, South Main Street, Saint Charles MO. The shop is a wonderful source for good quality florals. I see nothing wrong with faux flowers as long as they are good quality. This one is very nice. The blueberry branch, seen in the previous post, is also from The Flower Petaler. The lantern is from All About Home, Troy MO and coppery quail from Kirklands. The pieces for this vignette were purchased a couple of years ago, at least.
Yesterday’s news can still be very interesting, even if you heard it before.
