As you can see the dining table is still in storage.
This room will be painted Sherwin Williams Accessible Beige, next week. Soon after, we hope to bring the dining table, chairs and other furnishings from storage, hopefully settling in after over two months of work on our new home. We didn’t build our home, however, it is new construction. There were several changes we wanted to do before bringing most of our belongings from storage.
We changed light fixtures, replaced carpet and vinyl with wood flooring, and painted all the rooms. We added plantation shutters. Still on the list is cabinet hardware, a new kitchen faucet, a few odds and ends, and a deck, just outside the dining area sliding door. We plan to complete all on the list, over Summer.
J saw his cardiologist Tuesday morning. This was a follow up from his second hospital stay over the past couple of months. All is well now. His next visit is scheduled for October.
After the appointment we drove to Trader Joe’s where we found wine, fruit, bread, and those great Trader Joe’s crisps. Putting together a quick supper to serve on the kitchen island, we stopped at Mannino’s Market for cheese and salami, plus a jar of Legacy mango chutney. The chutney is excellent with the salami. This combination of wine and food was very tasty; the perfect meal after a busy day.
