Tablescapes count as projects; some more elaborate than others. This is just one, from 2014
I lined the back of this cabinet with red and cream check and filled it with white dishes and accessories.
Breakfast room light fixture change.
Light change in the hearth room, too.
And then there was the chair project.

After the leather ottoman arrived.
The rattan chairs got new fabric.
This brings us to Summer when we decided to prepare our home for marketing. We moved into a small apartment, trying to make the whole process easier. J needed surgery in Fall, so we decided to come home, where we both would be more comfortable. Of course, Molly was ecstatic being back in her “natural habitat”.
It’s been five months since listing, the sign is still in the yard. Slow going market for homes like ours, but we are hopeful for 2015.
When the house was listed, we gave up most project plans. However, being project oriented people, we launched another project this month. It’s just a little dining room update, but still enough to keep us busy.
We have a few things on our “repairs list”, which is usual when you own a home; just small projects, easy. No painting this coming year. The house looks great.
Waiting for the right (serious) folks to come along and appreciate it.

The same corner, December 2014, as we prep the dining room for change.
