The foyer tree plan was to keep it simple. I think we managed to do just that. I thought at first, just lights and bow. Then I added a wreath at the top. The tree still needed something. I stopped in at Michael’s Friday afternoon, where I found Christmas marked down. The shelves were looking sort of bare, but I managed to find three garlands of greenery, tinged with “ice”, marked down 60%. I wove the garland through the tree and used some odds and ends, found in the basement, to finish. This may have been the quickest tree trimming, I’ve ever done.
