A Casserole for Sunday Breakfast
1 pound sausage
1 package crescent rolls
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp rosemary (i used more)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Place a skillet over medium heat and add sausage. Break up the sausage as it cooks, letting it brown completely.
Unroll crescent rolls and spread them out in the bottom of a 9×13 pan, pressing the seams together to make one large sheet of dough. Spread the sausage over the dough.
Sprinkle cheese on top of the sausage
In a medium bowl, whisk eggs with the milk, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Pour egg mixture over the top of the casserole
Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and the eggs are set.
Barb, from The Everyday Home, shared this recipe on Facebook, from Natasha, at Hello! Happiness Blog. It looked so good, I prepared it for Sunday breakfast. I added a layer of sliced mushrooms before the sausage layer and used a mix of yellow and white shredded cheese, instead of cheddar.

We are excited about our invitation to spend Grandparents Day with our 4th Grader, Gabi. Little did we know we would need to complete a homework assignment.
We sent the first part of the assignment with Gabi, who will deliver it to her teacher. It is a few facts about who we are, where we’ve visited, and the most famous person we ever met.
The next assignment is to place something in a paper bag, that will tell a story about our interests and bring the bag when we attend Grandparents Day during the month of November.
I bet you would never guess, my homework will have something to do with Back Porch Musings and J’s will tell a little something about being a Lineman for the local rural electric cooperative.
Meanwhile, I’ll try to set a table or arrange a vignette, during this very busy time in our lives.
See you soon!
