The Overstock bedding, Home Goods pillows, and the Christmas pillow from Pottery Barn are new purchases. I shopped the house for other elements of the makeover.

When I saw this photo (Ralph Lauren), I hoped to use the black and red buffalo check in the room. After I found the checked quilt and shams, I randomly added plaids. I am happy with the combination. The room has just the feel I envisioned.
