I placed the chairs on either end of the coffee table. Moving them freed up space for a Christmas tree beside the stairway.
I found the plaid pillows at Home Goods, Thursday afternoon. I knew they would be perfect for the herringbone fabric of the living room sofa. It was a happy surprise to find they are a great complement to the brown plaid wool throw.
I wanted to complete this little project before J’s surgery. I was able to do the furniture moving on my own, but he worries when I do.
This lamp is supposed to be for the hearth room. I think it will stay in the living room though. I like how it looks beside this chair.

I just moved a couple of chairs, added wool plaid pillows, wool throw, and an apothecary lamp. A vase of feathers replaced the silk orchid on the coffee table. A couple of changes and the room is winterized, just in time for January in November temperatures midweek.
