Labor Day, the last big weekend of Summer, the turning point. Summer is closing and Fall is commencing. The light changes, the air is different. My favorite season is about to begin.
I picked up a few Fall pieces this week. These autumn things are from the basement boutique and kitchen cabinets. I didn’t want to dig around in the storage building in the 90+ heat.
It is interesting, figuring out different tables, using the same pieces again and again. In the end, I am proving my point; it does not take a lot of dishes to set a variety of tables.
For this table, I used a sailboat from our lake place, a few shells, and the blue and white dishes I’ve used many times, including here at the apartment. I must admit, I miss my French Countryside.
Enjoy the weekend!
