Monday was a busy day that began early. J had his annual checkup with his physician following his cancer surgery/recovery of a few years ago. The check up was good.
After the appointment, we stopped by Faust Park for a walk around the village of restored structures and structures in the process of restoration. It’s a wonderful place for a walk. The Spring gardens are beginning to fade, however, I saw plenty of photo opportunities. I’ll write about that walk soon.
Another place we visited was Old House in Hog Hollow. Always fun to shop at Old House. I found a couple of treasures for a tablescape, to be seen here later this week.
An old fashion rose beside a picket fence at Faust Park, St Louis.
Iris and Peony, hints of Faust Park.
A late lunch on the back porch.
Monday was one of those days at Back Porch Musings. Once again, Typepad was attacked by the denial of access gremlins. If you stopped by the back porch yesterday, you saw error notices.
As I compose this post at around 3am Tuesday, the problem appears to be resolved. I have no control over the issue and depend upon the techs of Typepad to rectify the dilemma.
Thank you for your patience. This is the second attack this Spring. My patience is usually fairly decent, but it has been strained with this denial of access thing. Bloggers who depend on their sites for income have lost money. I am fortunate that I don’t have that problem to overcome. But, I have to admit, it is a tad annoying just the same.’'
