An Invitation to the Garden
Seasonal Entertaining Outdoors
I have not been compensated for this review. I just wanted to tell you about a book I am enjoying. I think you might like it too.
Gorgeous images and incredible ideas. An Invitation to the Garden is from Michael Devine with a foreword by Charlotte Moss.
I am finding wonderful tablescape inspiration and recipes for delightful meals through all the seasons.
The back porch is a tad different this year. I started out with the black and tan rug and the fabric lining the cabinet and simply added and subtracted until the porch looked close to what I had in mind.
Almost everything I used was found around the house. I bought the throw, butterfly pillow and black and tan bistro chair cushions at Walmart, last week.
The swivel rocker and ottoman are from Pier One Imports, this year.
J and I agree, it is our favorite of all the porches we’ve done since we built this house in 2003.
Because the front porch is small, more like a stoop, I’m keeping it clean and uncluttered with a pair of salmon geraniums in black pots and a cherub holding a gazing ball.
