Weeping Peach
There is a berm, just outside the fence in our back yard. Weeping Peach is the centerpiece. Phlox, Flowering Quince, and Russian Sage also grow on the berm. The Flowering Quince is past bloom time and the Sage will bloom later. I was able to capture the Peach and Phlox, Sunday morning before the storms.
The peach tree was so much fun to photograph. I used the Canon T2i and a Canon 70-200 Ultra Sonic Lens with absolutely beautiful clarity. The lens also gives amazing bokeh effect. It is a heavy lens. I always feel like I have had a good workout when I use that one. I suppose I could use a tripod, but then, I have a tendency to practically stand on my head to get the shot I want.

This is our little creek garden. Creek is a glorified name for a sort of ravine at the back of our property. J has planted tulips, iris, and a few other perennials. There is also a concrete bench. A few years ago J planted several wild Red Bud. They have taken hold and flourish. The idea is to keep the little garden wild and natural.
As I composed this post, Monday afternoon, another storm passed through. We are fortunate that we have only had thunderstorms with small hail. No wind at our house.
