I am definitely ready for Spring. With that in mind and hope in my heart, I found a few photos to share, from BPM archives.
Can you believe this Tulip Tree was blooming in March a few years ago? We want to be careful what we wish for. Several ago we had early blooming and along came an ice storm.
Cleveland Pear in our back yard.
Chive Blossom
This springtime table, set with Bass Pro Shop dishes, napkin rings, and flatware, is one of my favorites.
I love the orange tulips in the blue jar.
I’m looking forward to porch sitting and Sunflowers in June. I hope to relax and enjoy a long springtime 2014.
I don’t know if you have noticed that I sort of ran out of steam after Christmas.
I’ve been resting and restoring. Whatever the cause, it seems to be retreating.
Let’s just say, 2013 was one of those years. When we came to the end of the year, I just needed to sit a spell.
I have a project in process. I’ll write about that sometime soon.
About the new profile photo…
It started with an animal print top from Chico’s. Do you know Chico’s? I love that store.
I keep in close contact with friends, I’ve known for over 50 years. We email every day. If we don’t hear from each other, we worry about what has happened. These emails include shopping finds, as well as other bits and pieces of everyday news.
Yesterday morning, I sent a photo of myself wearing the new top. One without jacket and another with jacket. J snapped those photos while I stood beside the secretary.
Then I decided, as long as I was cleaned up real nice, I would sit in the chair by the stairs and snap a selfie, thinking I could use it for a new profile if it turned out okay. It will do, until our own personal professional photographer visits from the other side of the state. I think I need to make an appointment with her.
The glasses I am wearing in this photo are the ones I wore when I began blogging in March 2007. I have an eye exam next week. Would love to have new lenses in these. I like these frames so much better than the ones I have now.
