Bouquet on the Porch…Harbinger of Spring
It was about 30 degrees (F), this morning, when I decided to set the bouquet of Alstroemeria on the porch mantel for a mini photo shoot.
I wasn’t out there very long and neither was the bouquet. Nevertheless, it was wonderful taking photos in the sunshine, a rare sight for many weeks.
We are promised above normal temperatures tomorrow (Monday), with a possibility of snow midweek; average March weather in Missouri.
Last week, the sound of Tornado sirens, being tested, was heard around Missouri. As tiresome as Winter 2014 has been, we know, much anticipated warmth brings dangerous Spring weather conditions to the Midwest and elsewhere.
We are joyful knowing Spring is just around the corner. We can hardly wait to see the garden results of all the Winter moisture we experienced this year.
About Watercolor Application
The above photo is edited in the Photoscape version of watercolor. If you don’t have an Apple product for their new Waterlogue app., you can download Photoscape. It’s a free editing program. There are lots of options in the program including watercolor. Just use the drop down Filter feature, click Pictorialization, then Water Painting. Photoscape is one of three editing programs I use.
I have a couple of Apple products and plan to add the Waterlogue application designed for those devices.
Mosaics for this post were put together using Photoscape.
