One more Christmas table for the season.
Snowy Mikasa French Countryside, red and red & white napkins, red flatware, and poinsettia are found on the kitchen island for our get together, Saturday after Christmas.
Family will gather at our home for soup and appetizers and good Christmas memories.
We will spend Christmas Eve at the home of one of the daughters and sons in law. This is the annual family pajama party.
The Christmas Eve menu includes Mostaccioli, salad, and something sweet. J and I will provide something sweet; a pie, candy orange slices, and peanut butter cookies, baked by J.
The meal at our home will be served buffet style. After thinking about what sort of centerpiece to put together for the farmhouse table, I decided to leave it almost as it was for the farmhouse Christmas tour.
I took away the plates, flatware, soup tureen and a couple of other things, and added a Jim Shore snow couple. I rearranged the arrangement and decided it was just right for an after Christmas casual meal.
I stopped by the Back Porch from my blog break to add this little red and white setting to Kathleen’s Let’s Dish, Marty's Inspire Me, The Scoop and wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.
Let There Be Peace on Earth and let it begin with me.
Let There Be Peace on Earth, the peace that was meant to be!
With God as our Father, brothers all are we.
Let me walk with my brother in perfect harmony.
Let peace begin with me. Let this be the moment now.
With ev'ry breath I take, let this be my solemn vow.
