Wouldn’t it be nice if the sweet yuletide spirit stayed around all year.
Thanks to everyone for your wonderful response to our Christmas efforts this year. We are thinking this is the last hurrah…simpler for Christmas 2014. But then we say this every year.
We enjoyed going through all the Christmas things in the basement. Someone asked where we store the Christmas decorations. Fortunately we have a space in the basement, under the hearth room that is out of the way and perfect for Christmas trees, garland, wreaths, and such.
I’ll be back next week sometime. While I am on my little blog break I’ll be looking through posts from this year. Perhaps I’ll do a New Year retrospective. We have had quite a year, with a few surprises along the way.
There have been a couple of much needed changes in 2013 that have provided excellent stress relief.
We are looking forward to next week and spending time with our fabulous family. Until then, J and I plan to kick back and relax. We’ve had a busy couple of months!
