Even though it is over two weeks until Thanksgiving, I am looking forward to Christmas, making lists, planning trees and vignettes.
I am so very pleased to be participating in a virtual holiday home tour or two, during early December. With J’s help, I’ve begun preparations.
A hint of the colors for Christmas in the living room is found in this vignette on the wine cabinet.
I’ve had this doorstop Santa Claus for several years. I can’t remember where I found him. I am thinking it might have been Front Gate. He always finds his way into one Christmas vignette or other.
I might be scurrying around the house scattering Christmas glitter and ribbon, but I have one foot still firmly planted in Fall.
November 11th begins a tour of Fall tablescapes. Twenty blogs are participating. Back Porch Musings’ Thanksgiving table will make it’s appearance here, Tuesday.
Here is a little preview of that table:
A NOTE TO OUR VETERANS ON THIS VETERANS DAY 2013
Thanks to all, including the veteran I live with, our sons in law, my late father, my daughters’ dad, and my ancestor family who fought in the Revolution. Thank you for serving, fighting for our freedom and the privilege of living in this wonderful country of ours.
