Now and Then
I have two welcome baskets. I put together the Fall basket, shown on the hearth room door, in 2011. At the end of the season I kept the arrangement as it was and stored it in a guest room closet.
Last year and this year I brought it out, fluffed it a bit and placed it back on this door.
Most of the elements for the arrangement were purchased at The White Hare, in St Peters, Missouri.
The second welcome basket is rearranged as the seasons change. It is hanging on shutters in the hearth room.
A front porch arrangement I put together in 2011.
Burlap wreath and a wreath made with a variety of silks, from Autumn past.
This small arrangement is currently hanging on a kitchen door.
Front door wreath with monogram, Autumn 2013.
Harvest sign hangs from a cabinet door on the back porch.
Inside the cabinet, Jim Shore houses, pumpkins, spools, and other fallishness.
A lantern, chicken wire cloches, and pumpkin atop.
While I was putting this post together, I realized most of the photos in my new Fall banner, are scenes from our back porch. The banner fits the theme for It’s Fall Y’all at Rhoda’s Southern Hospitality.
I made the banner last year and embellished it last week before adding it to BPM for Fall 2013.
