This has been one of those weeks. Or, shall we say, this has been two of those weeks.
Two weeks ago, we closed on the sale of our lake condo. While running around the Ozarks, I picked up a bug. I thought it was just allergies and let it go. However, it is hanging on for dear life! It is finally winding down or seems to be, but it has left me without a lot of blog energy and even less blog mojo.
I am participating in a vignette how to get together next week. I have a plan and plan to execute it today and tomorrow.
Putting together the gallery wall sapped my strength, early in the week. After taking time off from everything yesterday and taking naps and such to regain the old stamina, I am ready to get started on my vignette tutorial.
Because I will be busy the next few days, putting together what I hope is a whiz bang post for the how to, I combed through my table archives at both blogs for blog fodder and came up with table inspiration from out of the past.
While over at the original Back Porch Musings, I ran across this photo of a past hearth room mantel. I am considering a white mantel for the vignette how to. Different from this mantel, yet using white crockery. That could all change between now and the time I actually get started. Stay tuned, you know I will come up with something or other.
A Gentle Reminder
This hearth room Christmas is from about five years ago. I don’t recall the exact year. It reminds me we will be dragging out the Christmas things soon.
The photo shows how much the hearth room has changed over the past few years.
Meanwhile, beginning next week and continuing the following week, Back Porch Musings is participating with 24 other blogs in a vignette how to. My day is November 8th.
