I had not felt like browsing Target since before I was sick in June. I missed this little diversion. A week or two ago, I decided it was time to return to Target…just because.
Naturally, I went to the dishes and linens first, where I found this tablecloth. I love the colors and the Queen Anne’s Lace pattern and knew the Royal Stafford dishes and checked napkins would be perfect with it.
I don’t know the pattern name of the Royal Stafford dishes. If anyone knows, please let me know.
We took a little drive along a couple of country roads, where I cut Queen Anne’s Lace. It isn’t as prolific as it was last year, but I managed to find some along a fence row that wasn’t too straggly. I added it to three white pitchers and placed them near the large Mikasa French Countryside tureen.
The flatware and pitchers were found at HomeGoods a few years ago. The checked napkins are from Pier One and the beige linen napkins are from Target. Glassware, Old Time Pottery.
The white dishes are also Mikasa French Countryside. I’ve had the duck napkin rings for over thirty years. They are from Famous-Barr (now Macy’s). Many years ago, I worked at Famous-Barr. That was when my dish obsession began.
