Spring Harvest and Mikasa French Countryside
J’s neurologist retired, which meant we needed to find a new neurologist. We met the new neurologist, last Thursday. J is doing quite well with the Parkinson meds. He will have another appointment in January.
After the appointment in west St Louis County, we ran a couple of errands. A stop at HomeGoods, was included, where I found the lantern and candlesticks used in this tablescape.
I went through the pantry and cupboards and rounded up this and that to complete the setting. The grape accent/salad plate is Lenox Spring Harvest, the dinner plate is Mikasa French Countryside. The blue charger is actually a round platter. It isn’t marked. Glassware was found at HomeGoods about a year ago. The small wine glass is from an auction many years ago. The crocheted cloth is from a flea market and the napkins and rings from HomeGoods. I don’t recall where I found the flatware.
The time has arrived for the first day of the 2013 Summer Showcase of Homes.
The list of links to homes being shown beginning today, is on my sidebar. The tour will continue through Friday, with five homes each day until Friday, when there will be six homes.
Our home is scheduled for Thursday.
