Good old summertime…
Are you acquainted with Slim Paley’s blog? If not, I highly recommend a visit. She is someone who seems to blog for sheer pleasure. That’s the way I like to think of my blogging.
Slim chronicles her travels with amazing photography. Her home and gardens are luscious. I love her style. I think you will, too.
Slim’s recent wicker post inspired me to write about our vintage beach chair, given to us when we were furnishing J’s lodge. To see the inspiration post, click HERE.
Our chair folds up for easy carrying. The space beneath the seat originally held a cushion. Ours didn’t have the cushion, when we received it. I found similar chairs online that show the space used for a cushion. That space is also just the right size for a picnic throw, bottle of wine, a couple of glasses and napkins, plus room for bread. Bread and wine on the beach or beside a stream. That sounds good to me.
While I was outdoors I shot a few photos of the patio gardens. We are still working on the patio update. Hoping to finish soon.

Patio progress…getting there.
We are primarily using pink, white and green annuals on the patio this year.
