I like a herringbone pattern in rugs and upholstery. Our living room sofa has a subtle herringbone pattern.
It’s been awhile since there has been a rug in the dining room. When I saw this herringbone rug, at Lowe’s I decided to give it a try. The rug works well with the Pottery Barn lined curtain panels and Sherwin Williams Nomadic Desert walls.
When we put the furniture back in the dining room, we placed the chest on a different wall, under a three print grouping.
Lamps and plate are from HomeGoods. The rooster and hen were purchased at Dillards about 10 years ago. Prints are from Hobby Lobby, several years ago.
The chest was moved from beneath the mirror.
The sconces were originally a brassy gold. I painted and distressed them. The mirror was dark wood, before I painted and distressed it. The platters are Mikasa.
The bench was moved into the dining room from the master bedroom.
This cabinet remains the same, with just a little editing to the Mikasa vignette.
The crocheted piece is about thirty years old.
