We visited the greenhouses again. That is no surprise.
I had an idea for a table setting and needed a couple of pots of flowers and J needed something for a tree he is doctoring; so away we went to town.
I found several succulents and planted this one in a teacup. The succulents were an irresistible impulse buy and have nothing to do with the table I have in mind…maybe.
If all goes according to my vision, these plants will be in the centerpiece.
Bird nests from Mikasa clearance and cloches from my collection are elements of the table.
Cut flowers from the grocery store are in the mix.
Lily Pads, Frogs, Fish, and Fowl.
I intended to get this vision of a table together and do a post this afternoon. However, cold and soggy weather brought an old friend to our door. He’s a pain in the back, but I put up with him…just because. Table setting and furniture moving are moving at a slower pace until warmer, drier weather returns.
I finally got around to a new look for BPM. The template is a fairly new one for Typepad bloggers. I like that it doesn’t have the title ribbon running through the banner, like the previous banner.
I can change the banner, with this template, without being particularly tech savvy. I think I am going to like this look just fine. The banner is one I started awhile back. I like the neutral images because they don’t compete with the colorful photos in my posts.
Thanks to Shirley at Housepitality Designs for the driftwood shout out.
Even though this isn’t an amazing post, I am linking it to Cindy’s Amaze Me Monday.
