This table was moved from the hearth room to the breakfast room, Tuesday morning, when I was rearranging furniture. You can see the new look for the hearth room, HERE.
New snow is falling again this morning (Wednesday 2/27).
A little before 7 AM, I set the table for breakfast, so we could enjoy the view on this snowy morning. I figured we might as well enjoy it, since it doesn’t appear to be going anywhere anytime soon and neither are we.
You’ve seen the tableware in many tablescapes at Back Porch Musings. Most of it is from HomeGoods.
The lantern and candle are from All About Home, Troy Mo. The small black trimmed plates are Mary Carol, from Nell Hill’s. The clock is from Target several years ago.
It’s easy to pull up a couple of the colorful ladder back chairs from the farmhouse table
We are rearranging furniture because we are giving our granddaughter a few pieces of furniture. She and her fiancé are planning to be here, bright and early Saturday morning, with a big truck. The idea is to move into their new apartment in snowy Kansas City Missouri, over the weekend. We are hoping for a thaw, so their plan works for them.
For now, driving for emergencies only, is requested. We planned to go foraging for food this fine day. That plan is on hold. We have plenty and and will call on creativity for meal preparation.

Granddaughter Xanti asked for a few old wedding photos, to be used as part of her wedding, in March. I edited this snapshot in PicMonkey. The photo was changed to black and white and the cloning tool was used to erase fuzzy people and objects from the background.
I love this photo. I believe you can see why.
J and I were married November 5,1983. I was 40 and J was 38. The sun was shining. It was a beautiful autumn day. Our reception was brunch; a Bella Breakfast indeed.
Oh my goodness, the thought just occurred to me. March 1st is Friday. G’ma Pat really needs to get busy and stock up on Kleenex before Xanti and Kyle’s big day, which is approaching ever so quickly. I’ve already had more than one misty moment!
