With snow on the ground and willpower at a minimum, I decided to move furniture rather than answer the call of munchies.
I found this table, at HomeGoods, over a year ago. It was at the back of the store, tucked away between kitchenware and pet supplies. The price was marked down, way down in fact. I thought it over a minute, wondering where it would be used. A wine table perhaps. Or behind the sofa in the lodge. The table went into basement storage until I could figure out what I would do with it. After all, it was too good a deal to pass up.
Friday morning, with restlessness of a child on a snow day, I decided to move the table into the master bedroom bay window, replacing the tiny table with miniscule drawer and no room for a cup of coffee.
It will do until I get another idea or we have another epic snowstorm.
View of our patio from the master bedroom bay window about two hours into the storm. Sleet, snow, freezing rain, lightning and thunder, made for a very interesting day.
Most of the daughters and grands were at home or on their way, by noon…except one daughter, who picked this week to enjoy Hawaii. Sons in law were working.
We are safe and warm and have not ventured out.
Most of you know J is a retired Lineman. He worked many storms like this one and worse.
Molly loves snow.
Enjoy your weekend. Stay warm and safe.
