I composed this post while keeping an eye on the sky today, Tuesday. Explaining the title; we’ve had thunderstorms and tornado warnings. The unseasonably warm weather brought these storms.
They are predicting snow showers for Wednesday.
With a little of this and tad of that, I changed the mantel vignette and set a table for two beside the “fireplace”, in the master bedroom.
Spode dinner plate and Mikasa Italian Countryside salad plate.
Monogrammed napkin ring, RLR napkin, Oneida Louisiana stainless flatware.
The small accent plates are hand painted and old. I don’t know the age.
A mix of wine and beverage glasses, decanter and wine coaster.
Crocheted cloth found at a consignment shop several years ago.
The table is a metal patio table. Chairs are from the dining room.
We put together the faux fireplace a few years ago. We use the electric fireplace/heater quite a bit.
The double bonnet secretary is old. We purchased it from Richard Cottrell, owner of beautiful historic Elgin Cottrell House, in Clarksville Missouri.
