HEARTH ROOM MANTEL
Inspiration for my copycat from November/December 2012 issue of At Home St Louis.
A wreath over a mirror hangs above a mantel vignette, with silver, white, and apple green ornaments, mercury glass candleholders, clear glass containers, and snowflakes.
A swag of greenery completes the look.
The same idea works for the darker mirror and mantel in our hearth room.
Things found around the house and in Christmas storage, plus new purchases…snowflakes and three votive cups from Michael’s.
I opted to include the trees. Rather than rounds of wood with bark, I used a black wooden candle stand and added reindeer moss to the wreath and mantel.
At Home St Louis used a vintage flour sifter, a clever idea. Not having a sifter, I used a silvery bowl.
