SAILING ALONG
PORCH SITTING
SUMMER READING
Saturday morning, bright and early, J went to the dock in hopes of catching supper.
I took my coffee, camera, and book out to the deck.
The sun was just beginning to peek over the top of the trees, across the cove. The cicadas were singing, bringing back memories of summers long ago, yet seeming like yesterday.
As I turned the pages of Alda Ellis’ beautiful book, Sentimental Living From the Porch, I was inspired to set a summertime table in red, white, and blue.
PHOTOS WERE SHOT AT OUR LAKE OF THE OZARKS CONDO JUNE 4TH.
