A couple of the kids picked us up this morning and took us to West Allen Grill (Wentzville) for the breakfast buffet. We’ve had other meals there. This was our first breakfast buffet. The food was good, service, atmosphere and company delightful.
You just have to have bacon, no matter what. I do anyway.
In Other News
Our family has a deep and abiding love of animals. Because of this we ride to the rescue now and then. Gabi and Drew’s dad rode to the rescue the other night. Lucy came to visit G’ma and G’pa yesterday. Molly welcomed her with open arms, but did explain a few rules of her house and Lucy was fine with that. All is well. Gabi and Drew now have two pups, three cats, four fish and a turtle. Their dad, with his interesting sense of humor, gave our new family member the name, Lucy Fur. She’s a cutie and gave us all kisses, including Molly.
Jim and I are watching MidSomer Murders on Netflix again. We’ve seen all episodes but never tire of the series. Last weekend we watched all of Broadchurch on Netflix. That is an interesting series. We enjoy any series from the UK.
I’m still having difficulty getting into the blogging vibe. Improvement is on the horizon. I have some ideas.
