We bought this little rattan table and chairs several years ago, for our Lake of the Ozarks condo. I don’t know it’s era, but I feel it must be from the 1950’s or 60’s. I can’t remember the original chair fabric.
I covered the chair seats with the palm frond print a few years ago. The table has been stored away since the sale of our condo last year.
While I was looking around Hancock Fabrics the other day, I was drawn to this bamboo print with black background.
This is an outdoor fabric, making it possible to use the table and chair set on the back porch, perhaps.
One yard was just enough to cover both chairs. The fabric was on sale 50% off.
The table and chairs found a home in the studio/bonus room above the garage.
I like the black fabric with the natural color of the table.
The set replaces the black table I borrowed for the bedroom bay window.

I bought a new small laptop last week. I am learning Windows 8, slow but sure. It is definitely a tad different. I believe I have figured out how to do a blog post from this little device. That’s a good thing.
I hope you are enjoying your weekend. We had a thunderstorm before daylight today, bringing freezing rain. Snow is expected next week. February weather promises to be interesting. We plan to stay warm and cozy.
