THEN AND NOW
I thought you might like to see the studio, way back when, four or five years ago. I didn’t show these photos when I did the studio makeover, recently.
The crocheted cloth is a $5 find at a garage sale, several years ago.
We gave the vintage iron bed to youngest granddaughter Gabi, a couple of years ago. Aunt Ruth has the green floral bedding. The table, with drawer, is now a sort of gray green. You will recognize the bed tray from this post.
Same room at present time. More my style and more practical. If you missed it, last month, the rest of the studio story is HERE.
Just because…
A cottage garden at The Conservatory in Historic Saint Charles, a few years ago. I love those lilac standards. Aren’t they gorgeous!
Eldest granddaughter Xanti has photographed weddings at The Conservatory.
A VALENTINE
A HINT
We continue to work on a project for the back porch. I will finish staining, later today. The project should be completed over the weekend, in time for Metamorphosis Monday and Wow Us Wednesday.
HEALTH NEWS
It was a mystery to me why in the world I have been tired, after setting a simple table and taking a few photos, lately. What in the world was going on!
Monday was a check up visit with our physician. My heart rate was a tad bit high. I came home with a new prescription and I feel like I came home with a new lease on life. My heart rate settled down and I am feeling much better. I am surprised I have not had this problem before now, because my mother had a similar problem. I am very active and I am adamant about foods and moderation and all that. Genetics play a huge role in health, also. Thank goodness for good doctors and modern meds. I think I am going to be okay. There are big surprises in life. As I approach my 70th birthday, this Summer, I know more surprises will come along.
Other than my little blip, now under control, I am good to go. J had a good check up. We are both blessed!
Enjoy your weekend!
