WINE & CHEESE
Sunday morning, I set one of my make believe tables, for tablescape events this week. Winter is catch as catch can when working/photographing with natural light.
Sunday began cloudy but turned out to be a beautiful softly sunny day.
I am enjoying putting together a post a day, in 2013. All of these have been spontaneous. This new, even more relaxed, approach to blogging is working quite well. It’s possible the blog muse may up and leave in the middle of the night.
Until that happens I will try posting something daily. I don’t want to post for the sake of posting, though. That would not make me a happy blogger. I don’t believe it would make you a happy Back Porch visitor, either.
The elements of this table include a large cheese tray from Williams Sonoma, in the center of the the table. I checked WS a couple of days ago and found the tray is still available.
The cloche on the tray is from Pottery Barn.
The small etched cloche is from One Kings Lane, last year or the year before.
The blue and white plates, serving pieces, and napkins are Spode Italian.
The flatware is our everyday Oneida Louisiana stainless.
Found the white charger at HomeGoods a year or two ago.
The cloth is vintage.
Square plates and bowls under the cloche are from HomeGoods.
Napkin rings, Oleg Cassini, HomeGoods.
Spooner is vintage.
Stemware from Mikasa Outlet several years ago.
