In the midst of Winter, beautiful blooms.
Last week I shared beautiful memories of the 2010 Orchid Show at Missouri Botanical Garden. This week, I am showing photos of Camellias in bloom during the show, three years ago.

Any of several evergreen shrubs or small trees of the genus Camellia native to eastern Asia, especially C. japonica, having shiny leaves and showy rose-like flowers that are usually red, white, or pink.
