AFTER
This room is above the dining room. The ceiling is 10 ft. The view, from the double window, is the dining room garden.
Lamps are from HomeGoods, the yellow quilt, brown gingham shams and skirt are from Linen Source.
The slipcovered headboard is from JC Penney.
I draped a folded quilt, over the headboard, for added texture. The nightstands are alder wood. They were purchased, about 10 years ago, with the king headboard and armoire, that are in the master bedroom.
The wall color is Sherwin Williams Antique White.
The bamboo shade is from Payless Blinds.
BEFORE
The king bed is now in the master bedroom. The headboard is alder. It looked like the nightstands before we had it painted.
AFTER
I set the vintage bed tray for breakfast. The chair napkin rings and brown gingham napkins are from Pier One. The egg cups, plates and mug are from HomeGoods. I’ve had the bunny salt and pepper shakers about 20 years.
I am working on something for the wall opposite the bed. I’ll post about it when it is finished.
