We saw Andy Williams at his Moon River Theatre in Branson around Christmas ‘99 or 2000.  It was not long after he returned to entertaining, after resting his voice for a year.

Our seats were center stage, about 6th row.

It was as if we were right there on stage with him!

Andy made us feel right at home and encouraged photos, during the show.

We enjoyed singing along.  It was an absolutely wonderful evening, during “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”.

I took lots of photos.  This was before digital. We are at the lake.  The photos are at home, packed away.  I found this post from the original Back Porch Musings.  I thought it fitting to pay tribute to Andy with this little post about our wonderful memories of his Christmas show at Moon River Theatre.

AUTUMN REMINDERS

I chose Robert Louis Stevenson’s poem because I always associate the scent of wood smoke with Fall. 

The cawing of Crows is a sound of Autumn.  We heard them at the lake last time we were there.

Another sound of Autumn for me; a high school band practicing for Friday night football halftime shows. That sound always brings back happy 50+ year old school memories during Fall. I played French Horn.

ELEMENTS

The cloth is a satin quilt, Chris Madden/JC Penney, several years ago.

The rooster floral piece is a replica of one shown in Charles Faudree’s French Country Signature. I found the piece at Three French Hens, St Louis.

The square plates, soup bowls and flatware are from HomeGoods.

Napkin~Raymond Waites, HomeGoods.

I don’t recall where I found the glassware and leaf plates.

Candlesticks from HomeGoods a few years ago.

Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn.
