SPOTLIGHTING GREENS
I love the fragrance of cedar and pine at Christmas and try to have a few clippings indoors and on the porches during the season.
We stopped by Whole Foods, last week. I picked up a bundle of seasonal greens, which included eucalyptus, a variety of evergreens and berries. I set the bundle in one side of the kitchen sink, filled it with water. There the greens sat until Sunday morning when I trimmed the stems and arranged them in a white pitcher.
The pitcher of greens looks so pretty mixed with the white crockery, on the breakfast room cabinet, I decided it was a wonderful time for photo practice.
J and I clipped greens from around the yard for the back porch.
Look for a post about a table and mantel on the porch later this week.
