SECRET SANTA
This Christmas I participated in Blogtalk Secret Santa.
Each of the participants was assigned a gift recipient.
I found something I thought Sharon of Mrs. Hines’ Class would enjoy and shipped near the first week of December.
I went to work preparing for Christmas and didn’t give Secret Santa another thought until this past Tuesday morning.
When the mail arrived, there were two packages.
The first was from Amazon. I knew what was in that package. Someone who attended my old high school, back when I was a youngster, is an author. I am giving his books a try.
I looked at the return address on the second package and knew it was from my Secret Santa.
I carefully slid the scissors along the tape and opened the box, finding red Christmas tissue tied with white ribbon.
An ornament was attached to the bow.
The beautiful red plate, embellished with pine, is perfect in the breakfast room barn board cabinet.
SITTING PRETTY
The bird ornament found a home in the breakfast room Christmas tree.
This wonderfully fragrant shea butter soap was included in the package, along with a lovely note from Vanessa of At the Picket Fence.
Thank you Secret Santa Vanessa. I love my gift.
