LIVING ROOM
Family and friends will not be surprised to see vignettes here, there, and all around the house this year; even though we were not going to do more than one tree and two mantels.
Our love of Christmas decorating won.
We have two trees, three mantels, and several vignettes finished and a few small projects planned for the weekend.
Our Christmas decorating obsession began shortly after we were married, in November 1983. J was at a pharmacy, picking up a prescription, when he saw the second in the Wild Life Hallmark Series, the Pheasant. He brought the ornament home and our yuletide odyssey began and continues, to this day.
Most of the rooms, in our home, have a relaxed sort of country Christmas feel.
The foyer, living room, and powder room seem to be more comfortable done up in a bit of glitz.

This post is the 6th for December. I don’t think I have ever published this many in a row.
I don’t know how long I can keep up the pace. We shall see what we shall see.
I am enjoying the Fa-la-la, this year!
We are taking a break Sunday, to take the Garden Club Tour. I will definitely try to get a photo or three.
