MERRY CHRISTMAS MANTEL
On the Back Porch
The metal Merry Christmas was found while visiting Historic Saint Charles South Main Street with friends last week. My friend Charla noticed it first. Of course she guided me in the right direction.
Merry Christmas is attached to a rod that sits in a heavy base. It is perfect for our back porch fireplace.
The shelf, purchased about 40 years ago, was added to the fireplace over this past weekend.
The garland with greenery and bells was also purchased on South Main Street, last week. I added other greenery from our Christmas storage.
We found the vintage gate at an antiques shop a few years ago.
The fireplace screen is made of three separate decorative panels strapped together with black zip ties.
TABLE FOR TWO
Christmas Plum Wine from Sainte Genevieve Winery, Sainte Genevieve Missouri.
ROYAL STAFFORDSHIRE PLATES
The flat Santa, one of my favorites, is from an early 1990’s craft show on the Mizzou campus in Columbia, MO.
