The Pheasant table is set in J’s lodge, on the lower level of our home.
I wanted the centerpiece to resemble the natural habitat of Pheasant.
Due to one thing and another, we are celebrating Thanksgiving with our family by having dinner out Sunday afternoon.
After years of putting a huge traditional dinner together, I am quite happy having dinner out. We will enjoy being together, whether Mom cooks the meal or not. Especially this year.
The date is Sunday rather than Thursday because we want the kids to be able to enjoy their time with dear daughters’ dad and stepmom on Thanksgiving Day.
I’m not sure I’ve mentioned, we are a well blended family.
