BEACH ENCOUNTER
LAKESIDE
AGGRAVATION, ACCEPTANCE, MOVING FORWARD
I went downstairs to my desk in J’s lodge, bright and early this morning.
My beautifully planned, executed, and photographed outdoor beachy table post, for Kathleen’s beach party, was ready to publish. Or so I thought.
Sometime around 4:30 AM, the internet connection was lost.
I am told, by the computer, the ethernet cable is not connected. Well, it is connected!! But nothing is happening.
What a dilemma!
Oddly enough, the laptop connection, wired wirelessly through the downstairs contraption, is working perfectly fine.
Unfortunately, I didn’t follow my instincts and save my beautiful beachy post, composed on WLW, to Back Porch Musings draft. Nor did I go downstairs at midnight and publish the post as I originally planned, Tuesday evening.
I just had an inkling this post was going to go awry. Next time I will listen to my inner self!
With my apologies, I am offering this table, from the archives of the original Back Porch Musings, July 2009.
It has shells and lighthouse dishes and a few other beachy elements. I am hoping it fits the theme of Kathleen’s challenge.
I leave you with a promise to publish my inland sea post as soon as I can figure things out.
Life is a tad hectic here. I’ll explain later.
Meanwhile…stick with me, loyal friends, as you always have. I will get this internet mess figured out and hopefully the other, non related, stress causing nonsense taken care of so I will be back in true Back Porch Musings style.
This photo is a tiny hint of the table, I set in the back yard, for Kathleen’s party.
Lots of work was involved. I had help from J and our next door neighbor. I think it was the most effort I have ever put into a table, in over 5 years of blogging.
That is why my patience was wearing thin as I put together this little make do substitute post.
This patriotic waterside table, from out of the past, is one of my favorites.
