LOOKING FORWARD
Most of the images for this post are from May 2011. Almost a year ago.
I enjoyed putting this table together and decided it would be a great post to repeat for Let’s Dish.
The photo below has nothing to do with dishes or food. It has everything to do with the kitchen/breakfast room/hearth room, which does have something to do with dishes or food.
I believe it qualifies for Let’s Dish, etc.
MEANWHILE, BACK AT THE RANCH…
SOMETHING FOR WHAT’S IT WEDNESDAY
I am a tad busy with a plan and furniture moving that involves the objects in this photo.
Purchases from The Barn, in Troy MO, include a salt glaze crock, with lid, from Rowe, to add to my collection. A nifty brass lamp and the chair.
The first thing I noticed upon entering the shop (first time visit this week) was the lamp. With no hesitation I declared my desire to purchase. Walking through the two room store, I found so many wonderful things I cannot count them all. I found the crock in the second room.
I wandered around, all the while glancing back at the chair. I sat in the chair, asked J to sit in the chair and give his critique. Then I sat in the chair again. I think it might be from the 1960’s and reminds me of Ethan Allen, although I am not sure the maker, as there is newer upholstery with all labels missing.
I sit in the chair this morning, at my desk, composing this Look Back~Look Forward post. What can I say; I have fallen in love with a chair!
The new plan and furniture moving will begin in the hearth room/breakfast room soon. I’ll let you know more as the story continues.
