INSPIRED BY RALPH LAUREN
Awhile back, I posted the photo (below) of Ralph Lauren bedding, thinking I would use it as inspiration for a small makeover. I found RL Belle Harbor sheets, pillow slips, comforter and two pillows, at HomeGoods, before J’s hospitalization. I haven’t been able to look around much over the last couple of weeks. When we were settled at home again, I looked through my little RL Belle Harbor collection and decided there was enough to proceed without more shopping.
RALPH LAUREN BELLE HARBOR
While the room still needs a little tweaking, I believe it is ready for a mini reveal.
MY VERSION
I love the cheerfulness of this metamorphosis.
The lace edged pillow slips are also RL, found at HomeGoods a couple of years ago. I shopped the house for the top sheet. It is a Ralph Lauren blue and white stripe. The white quilt is from HomeGoods a few years ago.
A euro sham story will be revealed in a 5th anniversary giveaway, later this week.
ANSWER
I was asked about the artist who did the painting of Haldimand Bay Michigan. He is Richard Wolfgang. You can read about him HERE. We purchased the signed and numbered print, a few years ago, when we visited Mackinac Island during the annual Lilac Festival. The print is above the dresser, seen in my previous post.
MASTER BEDROOM BEFORE
This is how the master bedroom looked after a mini makeover during September 2011. I moved the blue and white RL lamp to the dining room after finding it’s mate, recently. After I found the inspiration photo, I decided to brighten the room, using red, blue, yellow and white.
