I’m happily picking and choosing lyrics to fit my subject because I am in an irresistible springtime frame of mind; even if that seems a tad impractical at the end of February in northeast Missouri. 

I know exactly what March can be, here in this neck of the woods, with ice and snow and no electricity for a week and sometimes more.  However, I am a cockeyed optimist, going around believing the glass half full through good times and bad.

With that philosophy of life in mind, I put together a Spring basket for the french door leading from living room to hearth room.

Remember those cute little Pier 1 topiary bunnies making the rounds in the land of blog 2 or 3 years ago?

In addition to the bunny, I added a bow made of checked ribbon from this past Christmas and a few faux stems, found around the house.

March 11 marks the “time change”.  Whether or not your time changes, are you ready to Spring forward?

I am definitely ready to add spring to my step.

Our family and friends know I can be impractical and yes, even unpredictable.

I can only hope I remain responsible.
